Terms of Service

1. What NoticeClock is (and is not)
NoticeClock is document-preparation and deadline-tracking software. We compute statutory notice deadlines under Texas Property Code Chapter 53, prepare notice documents from information you provide, and record delivery evidence. NoticeClock is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No attorney–client relationship is created by using the service. Deadline calculations and generated documents are based solely on the information you enter; you are responsible for its accuracy and for reviewing every document before it is sent. For legal questions, including whether a notice is required, timely, or sufficient in your situation, consult a licensed Texas attorney.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information, including your exact legal business name and mailing address, which appear on generated notices. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Deadlines and no guarantee
Statutory deadlines are computed from the furnishing months, project type, and contract dates you enter. If that information is wrong or incomplete, the computed deadlines will be wrong. NoticeClock displays weekend and holiday extensions for information only and recommends sending before the unextended deadline. We do not guarantee that any notice will preserve lien rights, and we are not responsible for deadlines missed because information was entered late, inaccurately, or not at all.
4. Mailing services
Certified mail is executed through third-party print-and-mail providers and the United States Postal Service. Tracking numbers and delivery confirmations are provided by those carriers. We record the evidence they return but do not control carrier performance.
5. Subscriptions, credits, and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Each plan includes a monthly notice quota; additional notices require prepaid notice credits, purchased at the published per-credit price. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees for mailings already dispatched are non-refundable.
Prepaid notice credits are one-time purchases. Credits are consumed automatically after your plan's included notices. Credit purchases are final and non-refundable, including credits that remain unused, except where a refund is required by law. Credits do not expire, have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and are forfeited if your account is closed.
6. Your data and the Evidence Vault
You own the job data you enter and the documents generated from it. Notice records and delivery evidence are stored immutably so they remain usable as proof. You may export your evidence at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoticeClock's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost lien rights, lost payments, or lost profits.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
